This shawl took me f-o-r-e-v-e-r! Two months pretty much! I think, on the back of Stripe Study, garter stitch and short rows were just boring me (surprise surprise!). I finally found the energy to complete it this month.
Pattern: Different Lines
Yarn: Shilasdair Luxury DK in Natural and Meadowsweet

I love the color combination that you chose! I keep thinking I want to make the stripe study shawl, but I'm afraid I'll be bored too...
ReplyDeleteI was afraid of that with Stripe Study, however I completed that in a week! I made mine with kauni rainbow which kept it interesting enough, whereas I think with solid colours on this there was maybe no incentive?
DeleteDespite getting bored with it..it really is a lovely project! I also love your summer top..and the belt buckle looks interesting!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Thank you! and thank you, it says Road to Hell lol
DeleteIts so pretty. I love it. I could imagine how it could get boring after awhile.
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
DeleteIt's very pretty, I love these loose knit garter stitch shawls, they drape so beautifully.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Love the colours you chose, too!
ReplyDeleteOf course I don't think I'd manage on garter stitch/short row shawl, nevermind two so I'm impressed by your self-discipline!
its so purdy! good thing you got through it! I want to make another now... my first one I used the wrong yarn weight so it just doesn't work :(
